Jeffrey Dahmer killed more than a dozen men, but he wasn’t only a murderer; he was a rapist, child molester and a cannibal. In an interview with Stone Phillips, Dahmer talks about his childhood, including his fascination with dissecting dead animals and how that evolved into an obsession with violence and sex. Unlike Ted Bundy, Dahmer doesn’t come across as charming or dishonest. He is calm, soft-spoken and straightforward regarding the crimes he committed. Both of his parents make an appearance in the interview, both trying to explain and deny the reasons for Dahmer’s behavior. Eerily, Dahmer was killed by another inmate just eight months after this interview was aired.
